ONWARD TO THE HIVE! MONGO EPISODE 3

The Team have cleared the recreation room and move back to the central cargo bay in order to tackle the location of the hive - the SciTech module.

The PhilTh remain holed-up in the crew quarters. A Directional Mine was set facing their door to give a warning if they come out....he he.

To open the door, or not open the door...

What awaits in the SciTech module is indicated by the markers on the ship plan.
2 Infestation Pings. An event. The Hive.
 

What gets rolled is no disappointment - 11 Harpies plus a Bull which is the Hive guard. eeeeekk.
 

The swarm of pests to be cleaned-up. The Hive Entrance is looking particularly disgusting today..

 So the Team have to  make a plan.

Luckily a pack of HEMG ammo was found as rummage so this is loaded into the robo-gun and the Loader is used to set the robo-gun in the doorway to SciTech. The plan is when the door is opened as many as possible Harpies get taken out by the robo-gun then we attack to finish the rest.

 The team organise themselves for attack or defence..

When should you press the door opener ?.......Everyone ready ? (Robo-gun is switched on? )

Come and get us if you think you're hard enough !!!!!

 And we have a Red event to be actioned as soon as the door is opened...eeeeekkkk.

However, we can at least take comfort from the lucky fact that the Hive entrance is right in the doorway! OPEN - BOMB-CLOSE-RUN ...HOPEFULLY

NEW CARGO

I got some nice stuff off ebay. Cheap plastic crates which can be perfect cargo elements.

The L-shaped ones can be split to make 2 half-height units.
Or set together to make larger ones.
The ammo-box style ones could be fun to put tokens in to be opened during the game.
The size is just right to fit in the 6cm squares on the playing boards I use.
The cult of cargo continues !
